Nature Connection
Saturday
February 5
9:30 – 11:15 am
Location: Bluebonnet Swamp, 10503 N. Oak Hills Parkway, Baton Rouge, LA 70810
The natural world enables us to find the way back to our true inner nature and also to connect more deeply with each other. Nature offers us the path to health, peace and well-being of mindbody. Connecting mindfully with nature also teaches us to attend to our relationships with our human and more-than-human community.
Engage with nature for relaxation, growth, healing and re-connection, through various exercises designed to quiet the mind, heighten sensory awareness and tap into the wisdom of nature.
Bring pen and paper for journaling, water and anything else you need to keep comfortable outdoors (comfortable clothes & shoes, a snack, mosquito repellent).
Facilitated by Lilia Kapsali-Grant, Assistant Program Director of The Red Shoes, Nature Connected Coach, Master’s in Outdoor Environmental Education.
Suggested Minimum Donation $10
